new to IS boxer and quesiton about mapping keys

have a question in regard to key mapping on a four box in eq. i am very new to boxer and spent quite a while on the learning curve setting up my window configuration and getting used to it. I have been reading up a bit on key mapping. to be honest im overwhelmed and its all greek to me no matter how i try to read it. is there a key mapping for dummies handbook? or possibly an FAQ for someone with little to no experience with this program?
