Need ISBOXER EQ1 Help

Okay so I just got Isboxer.

The reason why I got it was so I could multibox easier in everquest 1.

I figured out how to get it to open up the different copies of EQ and load my chars on.

Now I am trying to figure out how to make the other accounts hit a button on their hotbar while staying on my primary character.

For example, I have /sit command on hotbutton #9. When I am on my main character, #9 is empty, but on my other 2 characters they have /sit in #9. How do i get it so i can hit 9 while on my main character and still have the other 2 characters use the hotbutton #9 and make them sit.

This is just one example. I also have to do it for things like the cleric casting heal using say hotbutton #2 and the dps assisting the tank with hotbutton #5. Stuff like that.

Please keep it as simple as possible. I am very new to this stuff and even after reading the guide on isboxer, I am still a bit confused.

Any help is appreciated!

Re: Need ISBOXER EQ1 Help

Hello, I deleted your duplicate post for you. ;)

First, there's a section of the Quick Start Guide that's dedicated to answering this question in the most basic form, which is how to press any given key, and have that key sent to any given window(s): Quickly add many broadcasting hotkeys.

Start with that. This will give you the basic template for your new Mapped Keys.

From there, you can easily change the Hotkey for the Mapped Key, or make changes to the Keystroke Action that sends a specified key combination to the given Target window(s).

To start making these changes:
1. In the top pane, under Key Maps, select the Key Map
2. In the bottom left pane, select the Mapped Key
3. In the bottom right pane, there is now a Hotkey option, this is the key you press to activate the Mapped Key. The "Hold" option may be important for some keys (e.g. movement keys). You can change the Hotkey by clicking the < by the box.
4. In the bottom left pane, expand the Mapped Key, so under it you see Steps, 1 (and by the 1 is a peek at what one of the Actions in it does)
5. Click the 1 under Steps, so that in the bottom right pane you should see Step, Actions, and usually one or more Actions under it (depending on what it's configured to do).
6. Click the Action (e.g. 1 -> all), and then the editor for it will be to the right with a drop-down box to select the Target and a Key Combination box.

Export to Inner Space again after making any changes.

There are many types of Actions for you to explore as you learn about using ISBoxer, which you can add to a Step of a Mapped Key (as many as you need; right click Actions to add a new one). You're now an expert on Keystroke Action. Most of the others are just as easy. ;)
