Single instance crashing other clients

When i load a single instant via Everquest>Everquest No path the screen shudders and any other EQ clients loaded crash via a video driver fault.

This only started occuring this morning.

The authentication servers are having a little bit of trouble right now, please be patient while this is corrected.

Oh, this is an Authentication issue? I can load Character sets fine (though a little laggy atm, but that is probably as i am using a different set to accomodate the toon I normally run solo).

The problem only occurs when i try to load a single instance while having a character set already loaded (or vice versa).

I am patient, using an unpreferred solution.

I have no idea how authentication affects this, and it has never occured before. It is now fixed. Baffled, but hey, thanks.
