Re: Focus issues

GINA is a pretty common companion for raiding (it is for audio triggers), BUT I have the problem regardless of whether GINA is running or not. Whether anything else is running, or not, seemingly.

Another observation about the behavior: it does not require me to be pressing any keys. Which, the more I think about it, could be an indication that all focus is switching to one of the other ISBoxer-controlled clients, and then ISBoxer is pulling the mouse focus back (but somehow not pulling the keyboard focus back).

How is Focus Follows Mouse implemented? I will try to uncheck that option and see if I get any different results (but that is one of the key features I like!).

Re: Focus issues

I disabled Focus Follows Mouse and the focus troubles went away. Completely gone. No problems after several days.

I REALLY love that feature, so please let me know if I can help with any more troubleshooting to try and get that working for me again.

Thanks, as always, for your efforts!

Multiboxing without GINA is unthinkable to me. GINA can watch multiple logfiles at once, and search for patterns. Then when it finds one either read it (built in text-to-speech) or rearrange parts of the message and create a completely new message to read.

For example, the log file says: "YOU are drowning!"

This is not particularly helpful, given the urgency of the message. GINA can see that and say "Bob is drowning"

GINA can use different voices for different characters.

Announcing tells received by different characters is nice too. "Why yes, GM Fred, I am indeed at the keyboard"

Re: Focus issues

:) I'm working on some of the raid events for the epic 2.5 augs (Demi-plane of Blood) and some of these events would be very tough without GINA. Actually, quite tough WITH GINA...

And also, friendly bump. I still can't use the Focus Follows Mouse feature without erratic focus issues :) Still nobody else with similar issues?

Re: Focus issues

This happens to me also, using 2 monitors with main toon on 1 and 4 others in windows in other. Running and might be turning with others following me and its like my mouse accelerates and moves to off main screen to second screen and focus shifts to one of the alts. Had to disable focus follows mouse and click on screens I want to swap to. Turning in some dungeons seems like mouse would lag and then jump to other screen also.
