Please fix keys not working while zoning

When any box zone in eq, the window switching keys stop reacting till any zoning is done. Obviously this is very annoying, especially when you for example send a druid off to pick someone while your fighting (=death), but also at less important sitations.

It is not a performance problem as I can click any window (or alt-tab) while zoning and go nuts without any hint of lag - It is only the hotkeys that stop reacting.
Swapping is disabled but no difference (as suggested in another post).

Please, if there is a workaround, post it here. This is very very essential and if I cant find a fix to this, isboxer might get the boot, and go back to the free but working wineq2.

EQ doesn't process window messages while it's zoning, so it can't resize (swap windows) during that time. If the EQ client developers decided to process the message loop while loading/zoning it would be more responsive (like other games), but I think their main concern is loading game assets and I don't think they feel the need to spend time on this portion of code for this game just for this

The trick when using this method is that there is no actual window swapping (your Video FX can swap around all you want), so you can switch between windows even while zoning.

Anywyas, offcourse I cant go back now, I am already hooked after 5 hours of play.

ps. I did see someone posting some code made for InnerSpace that could make switching hotkeys work while zoning.. and offcourse I cant find it now.

The more I think about that reply, the more it sound like an excuse for not fixing a problem. What you are saying sound like eq receives the key messages and innerspace catches it and translates to whatever you have set up.. so when eq is loading no messages are processed - Makes sense technically I suppose.

So with all the smart tricks Inner Space/Isboxer can do, are you telling me there is no way to set up a global key in Windows itself ?
(That would also solve the problem of hotkeys not working if you for example tabbed out to a browser).

Maybe it is not so simple to make a global key in Windows (various versions), but really .. I see many people in eq using isboxer, and a fix will solve a serious limitation everyone has to live with.
