Just messing around with it, and on the newest version, no matter what preset i choose I cannot get 2 slots to swap places using 2 monitors. Any suggestions?
Re: New window layout and swapping on 2 monitors
Ok, i'm not sure whats going on, but in the latest build I cannot get hotkeys to work with other windows as well... This is with a new cleared profile...
Re: New window layout and swapping on 2 monitors
I would need to see your configuration to tell you the issue with it. If you're on build 5376 with today's build of ISBoxer, there are no known issues with EverQuest or multiple monitors.

I've tried every single preset in the wizard.. Even the single monitor ones I cannot get to swap. It does make the correct window in focus, but it will not swap the active window to my region 1. Also, the hotkey for follow, it just sends ctrl-0 to all w/o current.. I cannot get it to work at all..

Re: New window layout and swapping on 2 monitors
As far as what you've got here, your Window Layout has the Swap option set to "never", so it shouldn't swap at all just from having set that. Also, the two regions are in separate Swap Groups, so they wouldn't switch places even if swapping was enabled.
I can't possibly guess as to why "every single preset in the wizard" would be like that unless you disable swapping in the wizard, but I'd be happy to explain or fix any specific scenario.
When you run through the wizard, start by making sure that you have Swapping set to True (it's True by default), and in the multiple monitors part at the bottom set Cross-monitor swapping to True.

This is the default preset that says " Multi-monitor with per-monitor swapping (Swapping,Leave Hole,Maintain Aspect)"
Not changing any settings....
any time I try to change settings on one of the presets in the wizard it goes back to <No Window Layout> - Going in to the options after and setting things the best i've goten was the ability to get region 2 to cross over to main monitor, but it does not swap the other to where region 2 was, it also will not resize based on resolution set for that region..
Again, I've tried all presets and none work like they say...
Also, any idea why the hotkey won't work? Seems like the simplist thing to setup with nothing special going on, but its not sending those keys to the other window.. session from console shows is1 and is2 (2 sessions)...

Re: New window layout and swapping on 2 monitors
I understand your confusion. The wizard was not doing a particularly good job of filtering out duplicate or inappropriate layouts for 2 windows on multiple monitors. I've done a ninja update (meaning that no official update notice is released) to ISBoxer 38 just now that addresses that problem. Additionally, I added a version of the "Full screen for each character" that includes Swapping. I believe this is the option you were wanting.
So.. re-grab ISBoxer 38 from http://www.lavishsoft.com/downloads/mods/Lavish.ISBoxerSuite.38.exe. Then when you run the Quick Setup Wizard, or the Window Layout Wizard, you should have an option that says "Full screen for each character (Swapping)", and I think it is exactly what you want without needing any modification

Re: New window layout and swapping on 2 monitors
Having a couple more wierd issues with 3+ windows and per monitor swapping...
Using the same setup wizard option that worked for my 2 box I setup one for 4... It loads them all fine, and the first time a window swap occurs, it places the active region on the second monitor, behind the inactive ones. I tried all the options, but the only way to get it to go back to active on monitor 1 and inactive on monitor 2 was to change the window appearence to have a border... if its set to no border it will not swap after loading to the display 1 which is the roaming region.
