I'm trying to reproduce this issue, have both Avast (not even in Gaming Mode) and Zone Alarm active and running on Windows 7... Having trouble getting it to cause a problem.
My snxhk.dll shows newer than yours, though:
Mine: C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\snxhk.dll (Mon Jul 04 11:36:07 2011)
Yours: C:/Program Files/Alwil Software/Avast5/snxhk.dll (Tue May 10 12:03:19 2011)
So perhaps I would need to install the older Avast! 5 version instead of the new Avast! 6? Or perhaps the solution for you is to switch to version 6
