Has anyone made experience with pvp? I ask myself if /follow works for pvp as it didn't work for me in the duelling area (I was there with lvl 11)

Seems that i will be the first person multiboxing pvp on ff14 . I will keep you informed, but you have to be patient as I can continue playing on October the 3tg.

You are not the first on FFXIV. Just the forums are not particularly active anymore now that most have moved to using the Discord server.

In a lot of games /follow does not work in PVP as any combat or movement action sent to that character usually breaks follow. Does this apply to FFXIV, I can't rightly tell you as I've not played that particular game, which is why I didn't answer your first post.
