error when trying to load game

Just built a new computer and trying to install everything again. Getting the Error message "Unable to launch application. Launch using the ffxivboot.exe file." I deleted inner space and reinstalled but still getting same message. Anyone know how to fix this error please?

If you received the Windows update to release 2004 (or 20H1 if you like), then the current solution is to roll back to 1909.

Thank you so much for the help. That worked! Thought I had to have everything updated before it would work, never thought updating would break it. ><
