follow seems broken

I just started FFXIV again, either they broke follow in this game or I forgot how to do it. Thought command was just /follow "name" Watched the video's to set up the FTL, they targets are changing in each window but getting message "name" is not a valid name. but only using first name, not full name, did they change how to set up the commands?

I found in another thread I was going through, you can't target players anymore, have to use positions in party. So for now I have a macro for /follow <2> and /assist <2>. So I just have to reconfigure the macro based on their position in party when their screen is up?

I believe if you are consistent in the party invite/accept order, then the position in the party is consistent too.
