Can't run multiple clients

When I try to run more than one client of FFXIV the first launches as expected and works, but when I try to load the second client it gives the error message :

The Final Fantasy XIV Update/Launcher is already running.

Things I've tried :

1. File -> Clear

2. Uninstall and reinstall ISB

3. Loading character sets and individual slots


Both ISBoxer and Inner Space are running as administrator.


When not using ISB I can load multiple clients, just running ffxivboot.exe. My Inner Space Game Profile is set to this same file. I have no Parameters set in the Game Profile in Inner Space.

Managed to fudge this.

Using ISBoxer once the launcher closes and the game opens when logging in a background process is created. This is what is stopping my secondary launchers from running. If I close this immediately in Task Manager when it starts I can run further launchers. If I close it but not immediately the secondary clients will hang.

This isn't happening when I run the game outside of ISBoxer.
