Another neat thing i have been doing is on one of the clones he has astral shield instead of sun burst, so every second sun burst a shield goes off. He targets his pet with it, and most of the time it lands on target.

Very good info - will have to try this out...

I'm thinking of making the GF my 5th char slot and i'll keep a cleric as my main, controlling all 4 together. All i really want the tank to do is run around and get agro with the at will that has him charge. I'll try to match up the cooldowns on his stuff to match my clerics. Enforced threat should be good to gather stuff up. not too concerned about blocking as I mentioned before, stacked forgemasters flames does a TON of healing, and it has a short cooldown. Mabye we can get them staggered, every 5 secs 2 go off. that would be a consistent 2k healed every sec just from the flames.

When adds pop I can have him charge them quickly, then recharge the boss. From what i've seen the pets take a while to react so they would stay on the boss for a bit and keep him in place.

I try to always cast Forgemasters with divinity. Same for shield if I have enough. I just wait till there all full, then divinity on all 5 and cast 3 encounters.

Tank hit 54 today (been leveling him since 40 with invocation and Leadership). Might actually do some quests with him to speed up the process.

LOL very cool on the 40-54 via just invocation & Leadership! On my other accounts I leveled them to 10 to leverage leadership and divinity and they all are around 22 (people that inspect them may think it weird that they all have level 6-10 armor).

It would be cool if you can make it from 54-60 soon as I only have my duo GF & main DC at 60 & would have to go from 20-60 on the rest and dread the grind as well as would need to shell out for 5 Tank pets which I currently don't have... Frankly not sure I want to all of that if you find out first that it is totally pointless...

Very interesting idea regarding the GF being in a background window & I suspect you are correct that if you target something with your main cleric's window that the GF will also target it and use 'Lunging Strike' to charge it if sent the command. That charge is an At-Will with no cool-down so you may be able to just point with your DC & have the GF zip all over the fight. Some concerns are that the GF's charge has limited range (20-30' ?) so you may find you either need to switch periodically to the GF's window for positioning if the enemies get too spread out or they start swarming the clerics that are far away. To avoid switching windows you could use something like the arrow keys for the GF and the regular WASD for your main cleric and his followers. To mitigate the limited range of the charge and 'Enforced Threat' AoE (30' burst on 15s cool-down) I think the GF's Tab Mark doesn't have any cool-down and has a very long range (100' though it is single target). I can use the GF's Tab/Mark to get agro in many cases but even with 'Enhanced Mark' I don't know that it is a full forced Taunt that makes MOBs come to the GF like 'Enforced Threat'.

I still have reservations that 80' range of DC abilities will make it hard to leverage the GF's more limited range from a Background window and that being on the GF as the main Foreground window would leverage the DC's superior range better (especially if they are mainly staying still). I also generally see the GF's role more active than the DC's but will try to shift my paradigm & try both ways. I will try to spend some time in the training room and put the GF near the 3 training dummies & my clerics near the 2 Training Dummies & see how that goes having controlling the GF to switch between targets and groups of MOBs. If I develop any key binds that may be helpful I will try to post/share them.

Was playing with the GF & Clerics yesterday, and Sacred Flame does stack. Just never noticed with the clerics as I guess they wern't close enough.

You don't get 5x Temp HP, but what happens is if you already have temp HP from a sacred flame, it will just heal you instead.

Wow that is great news. That may be even better news than the temp HPs stacking...

How did controlling the GF in a background window work from you on your main cleric?

I had the clerics in the background. Havn't tried it the other way yet.

Hoping you are able to do 5 mans... It took me a long time to get my new 5man leveling team (CWx2+DCx3) working with decent performance on my laptop such that I didn't get much play time. I am a slow leveler in general and hate to grind but my goal is to also try GF+DCx4 (eventually)... Normally I can only get some play time on weekends but work & RL demands aren't even giving me that right now.

Since only my original duo are Founder's accounts these 5 newer accounts are very tight on bag space... I did break down and go buy a bags of holding for my forground window and was glad to find out they don't bind and are tradable between characters (when empty).
