Create Macro in game first?

I am wanting to create a casting rotation for my warlock in world of Warcraft classic. In one of his videos, Mirai talks through setting up the macro via the wizard. What I seem to have missed is, do I need to create a macro in game first, then run the macro wizard in isboxer?

Can anyone help me? Do I need to provide more information?

You can do what you like with Macros. If you are comfortable setting them up in game. Do that. Especially if you will be using them when not using ISBoxer.

If you want boxing only macros, then it is better to set them up in ISBoxer, under the Game Helpers section of the toolkit. https://isboxer.com/wiki/World_of_Wacraft_Macro_Library
And then you use them in a mapped key with a Named World of Warcraft Macro Action https://isboxer.com/wiki/Named_World_of ... cro_Action
