been gone for 3 weeks - come back to 2.1.2 and this error...

now i've been fooling around with lots of things through ISboxer ( always through a copied character set not my main) and still get the same error.

I can launch the game just fine from BNet launcher and it's patched, but as soon as I launch the character set it fails.

It was working beautifully prior to my 3 week absence which seems to be patch related I'd assume? I did some reading and deleted the cache-1,2,3,4 files and that didn't seem to help and it's never tried to put them back in because I can't get the first one launched....any help at all would be grand. Here's my debug.txt file I think is what is requested. if more info is needed just let me know, thanks...sorry I know there seem to be lots of patch related posts, but I didn't see this error listed anywhere and can't seem to locate a solution....very frustrating!

So to be clear ... version 6030 did NOT work, but 6023 did work? The changes between these two versions should not affect this issue; if one of you can specifically confirm for me that 6030 DOES NOT work for you but 6023 does, that will help narrow this down for a fix.

Inner Space build 6069 could potentially solve the crash issue that you guys reverted to 6023 for. 6069 is currently the development build of Inner Space; To try it out, right click Inner Space and select Patcher, tick "Download development (test) patches" and then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up. Let me know if that works for you

Hello, I have been having the same error for 3 days now and it really annoys me now.
I tried patching it up to the development build but I still get the same error.

EDIT: It is random whether it works or not, after spamming character set slot -> my characters, it works in the end.

It may or may not be the same error (especially if the same workaround didn't help...), the only way to find out is for me to see your debug information. This is also the best way to get the problem fixed.

Open the Diablo 3 folder and find D3Debug.txt. E-mail this file to lax@lavishsoft.com. There may also be a file called app-0.dmp -- send that as well

Tried archives downwards, 6030 doesnt work, neither does 6069, same exact error, pops up with the blizz crash in under 2 seconds of choosing set.

Edit: on a side note when i patched to 6069 comodo firewall didnt ask what to do with the executable, so i dont know if the exe didnt change from 23 but if it did then i either didnt patch correctly or something.


PS. As per Bob+ in chat tried all releases with UAC back on and its still on no changes.
