29" 2560x1080?

Ive been looking for an alternative to my current 3x 21.5" monitors i was thinking of getting two 24" or 27" monitors and turning one of the for the sideways view but i recently discovered these monitorrs.

Im thinking i would like to do one full sized 1080 window for my main and have the 3 others in the other 1080 space of the monitor would this work out like i think it will?

If this is solely for Diablo III, then 2560x1080 is not a resolution that the game natively supports. You can still force the resolution through a Window Layout, but your shadows may be a bit weird.

You can see in this screenshot of mine how the shadow of my characters looks like it's an 8-bit NES game, when it should be smooth like this.

I guess what I should have made more clear, is that, as it currently stands, if you play the game w/o a Window Layout created for 2560x1080, then when you play solo w/o ISBoxer you're going to be forced to use a less "ultra widescreen" resolution rather than your monitor's native resolution.

I would personally like to try out those 2560x1080 monitors myself, but if I was only playing only D3, then I'd probably choose a monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio instead -- But that's just me. :)

Diablo 3 is amazing for boxing 2560 x 1080 and tbh any other game is really awesome also. I never go back to normal sizes. There is nothing wrong with shadows and it looks just absolute fab.

bit older screen but you get the picture. Main is 1920 x 1080

You're using a standard window size that Diablo III supports. If you were using 2560x1080 your shadows may (or may not) end up being messed up -- I say 'may not' because I actually haven't tested the resolution myself, but shadows on every other unsupported widescreen resolution I've tried so far have been blocky.

I'll be honest though, I forgot about that screenshot or else I would have linked it myself, but that is definitely a cool way to go about using the super widescreen monitor.

Ahh because my main resolution is a standard it looks obvious all normal. when i launch one client the normal way it looks fine on 2560 x 1080 also. There is no messed up shadows. All games i played so far are amazing except darksouls 2 as that game give black sides but everything else is fine. Raiding in wow with that screen space is really cool.

I am looking into 34" 2560 x 1080 as i wonder if i could manage 5 clients in wow on one monitor as i box wow also.
