Broadcasting seems to turn on when someone sends me a message

Thanks for the instructions! I followed it and everything is working very well. The only problem i ran into is, now whenever someone whisper/messages me in chat, it turns on broadcasting if it was off. Very weird, do you have any idea what setting is causing this? and what should i do to eliminate it? Thank you very much!

When someone whispers or messages you, broadcasting cannot be affected. Because it knows nothing about the state of the game or whispers or chat messages.

Did you perhaps set a Hotkey in ISBoxer to match whatever button you're pressing when you start replying? The only way we can answer this question for sure is to see your configuration -- http://isboxer.com/wiki/Configuration_Sharing

well its strange but same happens to me too lol :S when someone whisper me message comes ' broadcasting on ' i touched noting btw

Thanks for the instructions! Followed it and everything has been working great except one weird problem. Every time someone whispers me on my main char (slot 1) it automatically turns on broadcasting, I think it has something to do with whisper "focusing" or "activating" the slot 1 window therefore triggering the broadcast on key. Is there any setting I can change to eliminate this and retain the functionality of your configuration? Thank you!

Dude the instructions you followed specifically included turning on broadcasting when you switch to Slot 1 and turning it off when you switch to the others.

Personally I recommend following my video instead of doing any of that -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nxcxekvGf8. I use F1-F4 as "Hold to Control" at the end of the Quick Setup Wizard by the way, so if you're going to watch it for tips, probably watch the whole video

i dont press any button or touch anyting while broadcasting off. told a friend to whisper after 10-15 secs, when he whispers broadcasting turn on. dunno why but simple solution is removing all of your friends and tell em not to whisper
