Weird graphical glitches

Started running 4 diablos recently, and I was wondering if someone here could help me. I get small tearing and random text appearing on usually one or two of my diablos - they just flash and go away. I have graphics on low and turning down resolution didnt help. I also have the same thing if I run wow and diablo at the same time.

Specs:
i5 2500K 3.3GHz
8GB RAM
GeForce GTX 660 Ti

Thanks beforehand, Mige

Re: Weird graphical glitches

I'll take a guess here...

"Tearing" could mean a few different things and ISBoxer turns off VSync by default, so you might be referring to "screen tearing"? This can be remedied by turning off ISBoxer's VSync "block" in your Character Set settings.

As for the random text... I have no idea, but all-in-all It almost sounds as if your video card is acting up when you put it under stress (which is what multiboxing does well). I would suggest downloading Unigine Heaven, maxing out the settings in it, and letting it loop 5-10 times while you watch it and see if the tearing and random text return.

Also, if your card is overclocked in anyway it could very well be unstable when pushed hard enough (e.g. during multiboxing). If that's the case then return the GPU to stock settings and see if you can reproduce the glitching.

Did you build this machine yourself? What PSU does this machine have in it?

Thanks for the reply. Now that I think about it I wouldnt really call it tearing, more like blinking of flickering. I havent overclocked my card at all, and yes I did build this PC myself. I have a 700W PSU (Corsair) so that shouldnt be the problem.

EDIT: Oh shit forgot to mention, when I ran wow and diablo the things only occured while I was in diablo, never in wow. Also I am running the Unigine Heaven right now, and I see no same symptoms.
EDIT2: Also the "random text" I called in the original post is text from diablo, just bigger. Basically the whole problem is that random parts of diablo flash on my screen.

Have you tried using older drivers? This kinda pains me.

Re: Weird graphical glitches

well i havent tested this on an ati card but ive tried a lot of drivers...and even on a 570 vs a 670

the thing i found helped most is:
turn off all the frame limiting in isboxer and innerspace.
untick "disable vertical sync" in isboxer

turn off frame limiting in d3
turn on vsync in d3...

it just seems like the d3 ingame vsync behaves well with isboxer.

Re: Weird graphical glitches

Having tested out D3 last night, I will say that I see the same behavior on my GTX 580. As mentioned later in the thread, it's definitely not tearing, but more of a flicker of random clients at random times -- It even gets recorded in my FRAPS footage - Pic.

Yes, exactly the same issue for me.

Re: Weird graphical glitches

I get those too!...., as well as some ones where these giant pixellated rainbow numbers flicker in for a frame.

Re: Weird graphical glitches

LOL no. It looks like texture corruption of some sort, but as far as Inner Space and ISBoxer are concerned I'm not sure of a reason we'd see something different in Diablo 3 than with any other game.
