Help, i have two questions for d3 multiboxing.

So, I just ordered 16gb new RAM cuz i was told my 4gb was not enough for running 4x d3s.

So i wanted to try it out with 3 in the mean time, to get a hang of it. BUT, when i have run with my main char for like 20-30 yards, the two other guys have ran lik 17-27 Yards only? So my two other guys stays in perfect sync most of the time, but my they are NEVER synced with my main char unless i spamclick, like a waypoint or something :p or use Townportal.

Could any1 gimme a hint? when I look at the two guys running it seems like they are stopping for like a nano sec once in a while, even when i just keep my mouse held in and run straight.

My second question is, even tho i am lagging while running four, i tried it shortly.

However when i run four chars, my second char or well the second window's mouse seems out of sync allways from the others. even when i put them all in the left corner to sync them, and then move the mouse to say "Resume game" three of the mouses will be on top of Resume game, and the second window's mouse will be like 1 centimeter from it.

hilfe pl0x?

Are you looking at THEIR WINDOW, or YOUR WINDOW when you make this judgment?

If you look at YOUR WINDOW, and observe your other characters, then YES they will absolutely appear to do something different (e.g. stop), appear to move slower, sometimes even appear to be in a different location entirely -- than in their own window! This is because the game is server-based and the server is not on your computer, but hosted by Blizzard. When your character moves, in order for the other windows to see that movement, a message has to be sent to the server, and another message gets sent to your game clients. If your main window receives the "hey this other guy moved" message slightly late, it's going to look wrong, like it's not happening right.

You MUST look in the ACTUAL GAME WINDOW for that client to tell if it is working right, NOT how it appears from the main window.

You never need to move the mouse into a corner to sync the cursors, it is always in the correct position and will not be affected by cornering. It sounds like your second window is in a different resolution than your other windows. To solve this problem, you should be checking the in-game video options screen. The settings for this window's resolution, windowed mode, etc should be identical to the other windows. It sounds like at least one of these settings is not the same. Change it to match, then re-launch

Re: Help, i have two questions for d3 multiboxing.

I will try that out LAX thx!

But i know that it is server based and all that, but if i got all 3 or 4 chars standing on eachother on, lets say a way-point, and i then click just once on where they all should move to, shouldnt they still be standing in the exact same place then when their all finished running there? :P

And is there like a function i can enable so lets say they all stand almost the same place, and then i click the waypoint, and then instead of they all run to where i clicked, then they run to the waypoint because of some function sending to the other windows that i clicked the waypoint and not a place to run, if u understand lol xD hard to explain

Yes and no. To the extent that the screens are exactly and precisely the same (and they're not guaranteed to be even if you just came out of a portal), they should end up in the same spot when you click.

But the screens are not going to be exactly and precisely the same, and each time you click to move, the amount that they are not the same is going to get bigger. This is why you cannot move around via "click, click, click" -- inevitably one window is going to click on somewhere it cant walk, on a monster, on something it can interact with, and it's going to do it differently than the other windows.

Alright =) thx!

Final question.

With an i5 2.67ghz quadcore processer, a 9800 gtx+ graphic card, and 16gb 1600ghz RAM, would i be able to run Diablo x4?

If not, which would u recommend to upgrade, of the graphic card and processer?

I am also considering just overclocking my motherboard + CPU 10-15%, which could maybe just raise the bar enough for it to function?

And could u recommend any settings or anything for running it, with this spec?

Re: Help, i have two questions for d3 multiboxing.

The 9800GTX GPU sounds like your weak link, but any time you want an answer to this question you need to identify your bottleneck, because that is the answer to what to upgrade. I wrote a guide to answer this question so that I don't have to answer it over and over, it's written into the HOWTO: Tweak your framerate guide under Identifying framerate bottlenecks which is followed by Hardware upgrades.

I read this as "I want to change the Shift+Alt+R hotkey to Tab", is that right?
1. In the top left pane under Key Maps select "Always On"
2. In the bottom left pane under Mapped Keys select "Activate Repeat (Shift+Alt+R)"
3. In the bottom right pane at the top where it says Hotkey, click the < to change the Hotkey
4. Set it to Tab
5. Export to Inner Space
