lags with 1 slot while 3 others just fine?

Hi,

Lately i have lags w/ one of my barbs in diablo 3... the others just fine and only 1 have lags.

is it known issue? and what can i do about it?

also, when i lunch the isboxer d3 launcher the login page save the email address for 1-3 slots just fine but the 4th slot always similar to the 3th (the email), can i fix this somehow?

As of your post it is a known issue that one of your guys is lagging and the other 3 are not, but no there isn't an issue with ISBoxer where one of your guys lags and the others don't.

From your description, it sounds to me like you might have used the Quick Setup Wizard to set up a 3-character team and then modified it for 4? I say this because if you had used the Quick Setup Wizard for 4, then it would come set up by default where Slot 4 saves the account name (email) separately from Slot 3. If that's is the case, then something quick that could solve both problems is to use the Quick Setup Wizard to generate a new team of 4. This will both assign a new CPU Strategy (instead of possibly assuming that Slot 3's CPU Strategy is good enough to share with 4) and make sure the account name storage is correct.

Beyond that, as far as lag issues go, I would run straight through HOWTO: Tweak your framerate

u are right, but i tried to create new 4 team slots and still have this problem.. i also deleted the old config of the old team, but still.. (email in slot 3-4 the same)

is there a way to simply start all over again? to delete all config maybe? and start all over again?

also, i pick "skip to launcher" dose that mean that if there will be an update in-game the game will not download the update if i pick skip launcher?

Do a File, Clear and then run the Quick Setup Wizard again, if you used the same names for your "Characters" for the team as before, that might be why it didn't seem to change anything. If you select Clear from the File menu, though, it will clear those out for you

i did clear, i had same problems then i just deleted all and install it all over again from scratch.

still have 1 slot laggy/get stuck (my main barb) and the other 3 just fine.

after few secs of playing the main slot have 1,200 latency and i can move the barb but everything else is frozen (mobs).. i can switch to other slot and keep playing but the main just get stuck..

i setup cpu strategy wizard, each slot have its own cpu core

edit: i closed the main barb and run with 2,3,4 slots and no latency/pings problem at all..

Probably not related to your lag issue, no, but a screenshot of the error would help correct this message.

Well with your stated CPU Strategy of 1 on each core, then any over-saturation of the one core that one instance is on, is going to make that instance lag. So, say you have something else running on your PC besides Diablo, if it's assigned to just that one CPU, it's going to fight with just that process. That is something that should be somewhat apparent from discovering your bottleneck, as discussed in the framerate tweaking guide. In order to solve your performance problem, we have to identify the bottleneck (cause of performance loss...).

In your case you might get better performance from selecting the "all game windows use all cpu cores" CPU strategy.
