nop I didn't try this method lately as I 'm now triple boxing and find a funnyer way to level up char. (see my other post powerleveling triple boxing)

Of course it's now slower without the +50% XP

You talk to the general and mobs attaks. Sometimes the keywarden will spawn or another elite so don't go to high on the torment level ;)

This way you can let your low level char down the stairs, and he will get the XP for the quest. more than 2.6M in torment 2 (2 or 3 min)

experience scales with level. I tried this to boost 3 Crusaders with my main but it takes 2 long and they hardly get enough xp. The lvl 70 in party punishment is also making a difference i think. Might just do KD2 runs with main and 3 slaves again, not tested that but i can't bare to level anything normal anymore tbh.

Any other alternatives feel free to post, i am interested.

Re: Power Leveling Dual Boxing

As I say in my othjer post (*PL Triple-boxing)

The fastest way (and less boring) is to start a party with the low level in Torment 6 , invite your level 60 or 70 and start ACt I from the begining.
Do all quest in ACT I. (the 1600% XP bonus really help for the 40 first level)
It tooks me 2h30 the first I did this from level 1 to 60 with the 50% XP bonus. (And I didn't start at Torment 6 which was a mistake)
The socond time I tried I was level 44 in 1 hour.

You'll have to lower the difficulty as your low level char grow up, or he'll die against elite, because your high level won't be able to 1/2/3 shorts ennemies anymore.

I'll try this again with my best level 60 and my futur level 70 ;) should be quicker even without the +50% XP bonus.

i tried T6 with my LvL 70, the damage and health pools are insane as the party scales up also so that was not a option. I go back to a lvl 60 tonight should go way faster.

Hehe, no you must start the party in T6 with the low level and invite you're level 70 in it.

Re: Power Leveling Dual Boxing

Or if you have a 70 on the acct, you can start adventure mode T6 with your level 1 guy, invite the other level 1's and the level 70 booster.

Proceed to do the Bounties and rifts (kill monsters within exp range, followers back a bit - lots of exp). One bounty turn in got my guy 5 levels, but that's unusual (from 20 to 25) You also get the rift fragments, and blood shards on the low level guys.

This worked nicely for me.

Again, be sure to create the party with your low-level toon, in Torment VI, and THEN invite your level 70. I powerleveled 3 Crusaders just chaining "Rumford at the Gate" with a level 70 Wizard killing all the stuff. The undeads there are very slow, you can just Disintegrate everything around, and gear you alts with the yellow stuff droping from the Witches. Also, get you alts a helm with a socket for a red gem ASAP.

I powerleveled the Crusaders to level 40 or so very fast, then I had to downgrade to Paragon V then IV, to level 60 approx. Then you can just... play to level 70 ;)

Re: Power Leveling Dual Boxing

Another thing you can do is this - just mindless run quest. Probably 3-4 hours to level 1 - 70.

This really is just mindless, but your alts can stay in town. I'm not sure if Bliz will nerf this like they do with all the other spots
