Are WD easy to Mulitbox?

I multiboxed wizard for quite a long time now and I want to switch to a WD. I was wondering is the WD easy to multibox? One of my friend said it's the easiest class to multibox. Is that true? I know there isn't a easy class to multibox practice makes perfect but you know what im talking about :)

Also what's the best skill build to use also? Really appreciate the help :)

I don't have much experience with WDs outside of the one basic gameplay video I did quite some time ago, but from what I understand the WD pets do a good bit of "tanking" for you.

Re: Are WD easy to Mulitbox?

I have 4 WDs and find it fairly easy. I don't have the best skill build and haven't worried too much about it, I just recently got them up to about 60-61. But, here's a WD multiboxing thread from the official D3 forums that might give you some ideas: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/12331553172

I focus on Witch Doctor main and would say that they are an extremely versatile class. Was using the zombie bears build from 1.0.8 until i noticed how good haunt is. I currently farm T1 very efficiently. T4 is the highest ive gone but i have trouble on elite packs. If you have any questions let me know on here or in game. DaathlyHero#1844 if you want to see my current build. Currently all my WD are up to 600+ sheet dps.

Re: Are WD easy to Mulitbox?

WD certainly has the largest toolkit for multiboxing. Currently i'm running four farming t6 easily. Each witch doctor has a different setup that compliments the entire group. For example I have big bad voodoo with slam dance (30% dmg) on one and big bad voodoo with ghost trance (5% hp per second to entire party) on another. I pop both skills at the same time and get the 30% dmg and healing. The other runes don't stack group wide. I also have one with Mass confusion paranoi (20% dmg increase) and another with Pirahnado (15% dmg increase) so i stack alot of +dmg throughout the party. The whole reason i'm set on witch doctors is because if they nerf pets melee pets i can always do a carnevil build. If they nerf that i can do a jade spirit dot build. If they nerf that i can do a fire toads build. Most of the other classes that multibox are set into one very specific build. I think my ultimate fun build will consist of all four witch doctors with carnevil, 4pc zunni, and fetish psycho passive spamming like 80 fetishes that shoot poison darts sounds so damned fun.

Hey can you post your WD profiles please :)

All BBV stack the attack speed which can be huge for your DPS depending on your build. 4 different BBVs boost your sheet DPS by a TON and even if some rune effects dont benefit the whole party, the attack speed alone is very helpful. As for the rest, roundrobin keymaps are a very useful since casting the same CC skill on more than 1 char at the same time is a total waste. With Piranhas Piranhado you disable any mob for 4 secs, Elites maybe half the time. Being a 8 secs cooldown spell (without CDR), u can roundrobin that with all 4 WDs and literally have that skill working in an endless loop so nothing attacks u, and thats just 1 CC skill of the huge arsenal WDs have. Same can be done with Mass Confusion Paranoia, alltho the cooldown is higher, with enough CDR and Last Breath (Legendary Ceremonial Knife) u can have the skill almost always available.

BBV can also be round robin in pairs, lets say 2 groups that have Slam Dance and Ghost Trance so u literally cut the cooldown of the spell by half. BBV has a 120 secs cooldown. With Tribal Rites passive u have 90 secs cooldown. The ritual lasts 20 secs, so that's 70 secs cooldown without any CDR. Have it on roundrobin and the party will have the skill ready every 35 secs which is great for each elite pack. Add a little CDR and it will be less than 30 secs. And if u are lucky enough, u can use a Starmetal Kukri and have no cooldown issues.
