What is the easiest class to play?

I was curious. What is the easiest class to multibox? I started out with 2 monks which seeems fairly easy, but I think it will be tough at higher levels. TRing will most likely be impossible. What classes do people like to multibox the most?

I myself start doing multiboxing. using 4 WD and so far so good.
Each WD is doing 80-90k dps so i am only doing mp0 for now but once got more gold maybe will upgrade them to go higher mps?

I have not played since summer time, but I got 4 WD's over 200k dps per toon and that was the easiest method. Honestly when you have damage that high you can do it with just about any class unless monk still gets blaped instantly lol. Pets keep everything away from you as you AoE the rest down. I ran four wizards and exchanged gear with my WD's but that does not feel as affective. I had 4 barbs as well and did some act three by picking up loot and not blowing too much gold and found it pleasing with the constant CC.

The game has probably changed a lot since I played but I'm going to assume WD is the easiest route.

Range chars will be much easier to play than melee. I have try 4 WD, Wizard and DH. It is much easier to play 4 of them than 4 barb or 3 monk and 1 barb. IMHO.

Re: What is the easiest class to play?

WD is the easiest and also the cheapest class to start boxing.

You can get four WD equipped for 1m each and will be fine running MP3 Act3.
For 1m you get ~55-60k dps, 500 allres, 3k armor and 40k life. Great utility like a large pickup radius using the frog (thing of the deep) or firewalkers for the ground effect which doesn't get you stuck in objects as well as movespeed. Tyraels chest, andariels helmet and you're ready to go.

Throw barbs are cool too but more expensive to start and to upgrade later. I prefer them atm because sprint and leap.

I cant comment on WD's, but DHs are very efficient because with a strafe build they can travel at full speed ( or close to ) without having to stop and target enemies.

The drawback is cost as its very expensive to equip them.

Monks and Barbs are do-able, but keeping your characters together is often the biggest obstacle. Keeping them farther away from danger makes it that much easier.

My barb squad is running with skorns and have 5-piece IK with 40-48k HP at 100k dps, only life leach is from belt/rend. On MP2 I haven't died yet, rend has been enough to keep a separated barb alive on its own while I clean up with the remaining cluster.

Re: What is the easiest class to play?

Reading the 1.0.8 notes, it would seem that 4 x Archon Wizard is going to be the new super-squad, seeing they share kill bonus that prolongs archon now. However, I've been speculating whats best for running MP10 x 4 recently - especially with the new bonuses coming in 1.0.8 (even less health pr. mob when playing 4 players) MP10 should become even more doable.

Im just wondering what the best classes will be in 1.0.8, for 4 x boxing MP 10.

Personally I find 4 x spin-to-win barbs a pain to manage, but I think 4 archons will be very good - only downside is wizards got no knockback/freeze immunity like barbs do when under Wrath of the Berserker. 4 x monk, or 1 x barb with 3 x monk will probably still be very good too.

Thoughts?

Re: What is the easiest class to play?

Background: I mained a Barb when I played solo
When multibox came in to my world I immediately went 4 Barbs, and was not happy with the speed since I couldn't perma WoTB
I then have switched to 4 monks and love TR

But keeping 4 monks together is sometimes a PITA

Having never played Wizard I wondered if that Archon patch for 1.0.8 mattered. In addition I saw a video where a wizard was shooting a laser and thought 'hmm, 4 x laser wizards.'

Does that work? Could someone school me on the build and if it would be better?

TR Monks are getting kind of old, so I'd be open to some change.
