Can we WW it? Yes we can!

So ive finally managed to do what some people thought ( including myself ) impossible, or at the very least, so inefficient that it wasnt worth the time.

Im currently WWing my way through MP6 at decent speeds with three barbs. Ill be adding a 4th as soon as my 8 gigs of RAM gets here, although questionable if my CPU can keep up with 4 WW barbs ( Q9400 )

If anyone knows of a easy to use video recording utility, Id love to post up a video here. Any suggestions?

Also, if anyone has any questions about how im managing to do it, or problems they have run into while trying it themselves, ask away!

Grats on multiboxing a build that isn't brain numbingly and mp0 (coughcough weapon throwers)

I use FRAPS, however FRAPS only captures one of your isboxer windows...


BUT! I work around it by setting it to "monitor aero desktop (DWM)", start recording so its recording your whole monitor...and then booting up IS windows.

Of course you need a large harddrive and a video editor to edit and export into a managable filesize. You can check out my channel (in sig) for some examples of what I've done with FRAPs and Premiere (premiere allows me to overlay the 2 screens on top of each other and resize). However if you don't want to do overlap screens (or you are a moviemaker pro) FRAPS and any free editor like moviemaker will do.

Yes please explain how the build works, do you only WW in straight lines? to keep them in-sync?

also mind posting the build so I can see your skills and what keys you have them located? some people use WW on right click...

nice! been spinning for a while myself. i'd like to see how you do it. full IK gear and unforgiving is the key in how I manage my fury.

Im WWing circles with nearly no issues.
I will state for the record I have spent a LOT OF GOLD gearing up my barbs. My main is worth a couple bil from before I started multiboxing, and have dropped 400-500m in each new barb.

My skill set is -

Left Click - Weapon Throw - Mighty Throw
Right Click - Whirlwind - Hurricane

1 - Sprint - Run like the Wind
2 - Berzerker - Insanity
3 - War Cry / Threatening Shout mix
4 - Battle Rage - Into the fray.

As poster above stated, im using full IK set on my alt barbs, unforgiving on all barbs.
My main does not use full IK set as im able to manage his fury easier than alt boxes.
I have -5 weapon throw belts on all barbs, as kiting elites are easier to burn down with single target than WWing. This also enables me to quickly boost fury up if one runs low.

For the record I have around 90 ms ping - which influences my ability to do this HEAVILY.

The main thing to enable this is to SPIN SMOOTH CIRCLES.
Do not go straight lines, dont move in jerky motions, learn what obstacles to avoid, and what to use to keep sync up.

Tomorrow ill have my 8 GB of ram coming in so I can add my 4th barb to the mix, and will check out bandicam to record a run or two.

wow, you're pretty loaded. lol. your budget for one of your barb will pretty much gear all four of mine. i tried mixing it with weapon throw before but i forgot why i stopped. anyway i use rend with "lacerate"rune for elite killers. its a bit risky with frozen affixes but thats when the schaeffer's hammer helps. it procs even when im frozen and keeps damaging the elites. i look forward in seeing your barbs man, i could prolly get some ideas from you to improve my barbs. thanks. i'd like to know your computer specs too. i use 2 computers and both are quad core around 2.5ghz & 8gigz of ram but i think the problem lies in my video cards. i run all instances in 10fps, lol, and one of them still lags so i have to keep realligning them constantly.

Well, I can kill elites in the span of berzerker pretty easily on mp6, so I feel that rend would slow me down over it due to stop to hit.
Also, being a WW spec, Jailer and Nightmarish are my banes, so I like to have zerk on hand for say, a group of champ frozen nightmarish molten jailer Blood Clan Occultists.

I use just one computer, and its borderline viable for multiboxing. If I had better specs it would probably cut my run speed down a lot, as the only slow downs now are huge loading times. Im hoping the RAM fixes that.

I run all boxes in 1024x768 on 20 FPS.

It is -

Intel Quad 2 Core Q9400 2.6GHz stock clocks.
Radeon HD 6600 Series 1 GB DDR5
4 GB RAM ( Soon to be 8 )
Netgear wireless dualband WNDA3100v2 USB Adapter that im about to take back and replace since its a POS ( Been having trouble with it randomly disconnecting, think its either due to USB power fluctuation sensitivity or just because its a POS. My GPU absorbs a LOT of wattage from my PSU, as it requires a 400w PSU and im running a 300w, albeit with no lockups )

My CPU sits around 60-80% usage and peaks around 90% during areas like Rakkis crossing, so I may have trouble with a 4th box, we will have to wait until I get my RAM to see.
My GPU sits around 40-50% usage and doesnt even break a sweat really.


My only true slow downs other than soon to be resolved PC problems, are if I run into a nightmarish or jailer elite with zerk on cooldown. Doubles my kill time to around 30 seconds for the elite, which is a bit excessive. Planning to up DPS to resolve this.

your barbs prolly have high dps. mine sits around 65k-75k unbuff. i only farm in mp0/1. my laptop can somewhat handle 3 instances with lower fps as yours but things slows down alot with a 4th one so i had to tap my 5 yr old desktop but it can't even handle 2 instances properly. keep us posted on your progress. the hardware definitely affects our farming speed especially with so much nados spinning, its pretty heavy on the computer. my wifi acts up sometimes like that too. i just unplug & replug it again and it seems to work. rakkis crossing is always laggy even with solo play lol. its also the most annoying map because its spread out and you have to go to the edge of the map to reallign.

yeah man, nightmarish, jailers, and knockbacks, are the worst to deal with.

Yeah, buffed without zerk my main is 240k, first alt is 140k, 2nd alt is 145k, and 3rd alt is going to be around 150k when I can run him.
Would like to be 300k/200k/200k/200k to make mp7 possible without taking years
