D2R Causing full system freezes - hard reset required
I'm trying to figure out why 3 instances of D2R running with the below settings are causing full system freezes:
I'm not sure if it has produced crash logs, but I've noticed if I run 2 of 3 instances on legacy graphics, and one on Resurrected graphics, I usually have more stability.
My system isn't great, but it's also certainly not horrible. One of my friends who has run ISB had a lesser system and ran 4 instances with the same settings. The only difference that we've been able to point out is that his machine is Windows 10 and mine is Windows 11. Are there any known system hangs related to Win 11 vs Win 10?
System specs:
850W Gold Corsair power supply
Intel i7 8700K 3.2 Ghz processor
32GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 (8GB RAM)
Windows 11 Home Version 24H2
ISB and InnerSpace are both being run as administrator. I have nothing else open on my PC except for Logitech G Hub (also run as admin). Even Discord is shut down.
If I run 2 or more at the above settings, I'll usually get a full system freeze where my sound gets stuck on whatever sound is last playing on the main window and I can't move the mouse or anything else. Simply need to do a hard reset by holding the power button for a few seconds.
Really hoping to get some feedback. I'm sure you're probably looking for additional details. Just direct me with what you need and I'm happy to provide them -- just would love to get some consistency and stability at even the lowest settings so I can run 3 without 2 being in legacy graphics.
