[SOLVED] mouseover problem in second and third monitor

Hi,

I'm playing D3 with 3 monitor, 3 character.

In the first monitor no problem.

When I put my mouse in second and third monitor, big problem occur.

When I move my mouse in second monitor and over my character to see properties, if I look damage or an other property no problem.

When I put my mouse over an object, the property windows doesn't appear.

If mouse is synchronised it's ok but if not windows doesn't appear.

So it's very difficult to compare object properties.

I've just bought a new PC and I haven't the problem on my older.

I think all is configured like my older PC but it doesn't work.

You can find my configuation file here : http://pastebin.fr/39243

If someone can help me ....

Thanks by advance

Regards

Re: mouseover problem in second and third monitor

First things. Region 3 is running a different Aspect Ratio to the other 2 Regions, which means broadcasting will potentially not line up correctly. Internally it is rendering at the same size, but the display size is different and the aspect ratio is different so the chances of a broadcast mouse cursor being in the same position is pushing it.

You might get away with setting the Repeater Profile -> Defaults to a Cursor Positioning Mode of "Scaled..." (either one, although I'd go with Center myself). The better option would be to make sure Region 3 is using the same Aspect Ratio as the other Regions.

Other than that, it is not clear (to me) what you mean. It does really sound like the mouse is not where you think it is, so it is likely the problem described about.

If not, then Diablo 3 does have an odd problem where the mouse cursor may not display when you are mousing over a 2nd or 3rd display. This has not yet been determined why (or if it has, I have not noticed).

If this is your problem, people get around this by running a Stacked screen Window Layout, and then using DXNothing and video fx to display on the 2nd/3rd etc screens.

Re: mouseover problem in second and third monitor

thanks for your help.

I have two full hd monitor and a smaller 4/3 monitor.

when i move my mouse in synchronised mode, mouse is at the right place on all monitor.

So if I want to compare object between character, I put my mouse over a weapon and I see the weapon of all character, no problem with that.

But if i'm not synchronised and if I click on 2nd monitor, put my mouse over a weapon, the weapon windows doesn't appear.

It's funny to see that if I want to see a property like the damage, I haven't any problem.

So it's impossible to compare a finded weapon with the actualy used weapon on 2nd and 3rd monitor.

If I remove my 3rd monitor, the smaller, and use only two character, I have the same problem.

PS : Sorry for my poor English but I'm French ;-)

Re: mouseover problem in second and third monitor

You should try switching the in game display settings a couple of times between "Fullscreen" and "Windowed (Fullscreen)". i.e. get it to change a couple of times.

You want the game to be running "Windowed (Fullscreen)", but sometimes you need to switch it a couple of times for it to figure out what resolution it should be rendering at.

Other than that, for your smaller 4:3 monitor, you should really have a region size that is the same Aspect Ratio (i.e. 16:9) as the others. But if it is not affecting you currently, then don't worry about it.
