Will it say in release notes when it is fixed?

It'll say on this thread when it is fixed, and yes probably in release notes of whatever needs updating (probably Inner Space)

Inner Space build 6044, now the development build of Inner Space, should resolve this issue with the battle.net launcher. To try it out, right click Inner Space in the system tray (notification area), select Patcher, tick "Download development (test) patches" then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up.
