How do you run 8 accounts of Diablo III on 1 computer since you can't be in a group of more than 4 ?

Actually the only reason would be that you're botting a single place with 8 different instances of a single place (like Ghom)...

Re: Need help to reduce loading time

First off, wow 8 accounts? Since 4 is the max, does that mean that you play two individual games at the same time (with the same char types I assume)? You probably have to stick to static areas that don't change? How do you even... you know what, never mind. :D

I used to have 4 regular (non ssd) hard drive in a RAID 0. When joining games, crossing zone boundaries, or exiting the game, it would lag for upwards of 30sec+. I upgraded to two Samsung SSD's in a RAID0. Holy hell what an improvement. You say you already have an SSD, how old is it? What kind of speeds do you get with it? My RAID 0 SSD array fully saturates my SATA 2 controller, i get 570 - 590 MB/sec throughput consistently. In my case, the bottleneck was definitely the hard drive. WIth 8 accounts, I'd definitely do a RAID 0 array of SSDs. Also, be sure you have a SATA 3 controller for maximum speed, as SATA 2 maes out at 600mb/sec.

Re: Need help to reduce loading time

I've got 2x OCZ Vertex 3's striped (Raid 0) for my gaming folder.
The load time has never really been an issue for any of the games I've played.
Having SSDs, especially in Raid 0, spoils you.

OCZ has had some financial issues, so while I've had good luck with them I wouldn't recommend them.
I'd probably go with Samsung 840s, if I were getting new/more SSDs.

THIS! I've got 2 Samsung 840 EVOs in RAID 0. Dear god it has spoiled me. Load times are practically non-existent for all games (D3 included).

Re: Need help to reduce loading time

Setting SSD's on Raid 0, never thought of that. I might give it a try on my next computer... which should be next year... Or maybe sooner, since my SSD's are 80 MB and that sometimes can be a bother.

However I installed Win-7 on one drive, and Diablo III on the other one, which should also speed the stream of data.
