Battle Net window wont exit after game launch

I have been using inner space /isboxer for about 8 months and feel comfortable using the software. But now I have a problem

In the past when things have gone awry I have managed to address the issues myself either through wiki or the forums.

My Diablo 4 peep MB setup worked last night, but not today. Last night the PC was turned off, went to work the following day, come home, cranked PC up to get my fix and ....nada.

First off when not using IS, Diablo works fine - no dramas.

When using IS, first character will load and does connect to the server but the battle net window does not exit anymore. I have the settings set to exit on game launch and I believe I have the visualization thing going on. The next character does not load through IS even though it is executed through IS (right click and manually set through slot)

I believe the battle net window which is no longer exiting is causing issues with IS.

What I have done is:
1. deleted the virtual files and rebuild (using wizard)
2. deleted cache 1 to cache 4 folders (four characters = four cache folders) and subsequently let IS rebuild the folders
3. cleared all character settings in IS Boxer and rebuild (using wizard)
4. uninstall / reinstall IS/IS Boxer (to capture any updates)
5. uninstall / reinstall Battle Net

Not sure what else I can try here... maybe I am missing something basic, a setting or cmd line switch in IS itself?

It may be something for Lax to look into, but I don't think the BNet launcher has seen an update for at least a few days and someone would have likely reported the same behavior if there was an issue..

Are you checking the "When I Launch The Game" option when using the BNet Launchers through Inner Space? These launchers have their own settings saved and don't share the settings of the BNet launcher when used outside of Inner Space.

However, can you not close the launcher yourself by clicking on the X in the corner? In my experience, skipping the launcher is usually the best route if possible so that you don't run into these types of headaches.

I can and it closes. But the next character that loads does not run through IS.

Yur I agree. But since Lax sorted the loader issues out I haven't bothered bypassing it for fear of missing the updates and screwing things up.

Using two characters and bypassing BN works.


OK, by manually killing the agent process, does allow BN to work through IS - two characters.
Alt tabbing out, I can see both BN windows open. One them wants me to hit the play button again and the other one has the word launching greyed out... /shrugs
