hardware upgrade?

After patch 2.0 released and i load up my 4 box im getting low memory warnings on my computer. I increased the page file sized or whatever its called to 8g up from system controlled and its still giving me the errors. I have a meduim range computer so it should definately be able to handle this task but im just not getting whats going on.

FX-8350 OCd 4.4ghz - amd
16gb 1600mhz ram - corsair
2x GTX 760(SLI is active) - Asus
OS is on its own SSD
D3 / Isboxer is on its own SSD
both SSDs have plenty of room

im assuming they just beefed up the resources diablo uses and something in my computer is falling short of the task... RAM? should i get another 16gb of corsair 1600mhz or upgrade to 2133/2400?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: hardware upgrade?

I'm running the same cpu as you I had it at 1.38v at 4.4Ghz and my cpu usage was sitting at aroun 70%. I upped the voltage to 1.4v and now it sits at around 60%. I still experience random window freezes where I have to open up ISBoxer to fix it. It is really annoying. I use to multibox hardcore but with the way things are going right now I don't think that will ever happen.

Edit:
I'm also running 32GB of RAM which I know is over kill lol. OS on its own SSD and games on a seperate SSD. Video card 770.

I highly doubt Diablo 3 is causing your machine to run out of memory. It's a 32-bit application, so, by design, it won't use more than 2GB of RAM. That means that if you're running four instances of the game which can theoretically take up two gigabytes each, then 4 x 2 = 8GB total if Diablo 3 is even using anywhere near it's maximum limit of RAM; which, again, I highly doubt.

If you're running out of memory, then you need to look at the Windows Task Manager to see which programs are causing that. You might even double-check what your system information is reading for available memory, because 16GB is more than enough to multibox on in any normal situation.

Re: hardware upgrade?

Nothing running but ISboxer... My Logitech G software in the system tray and pandora on Chrome. I keep my gaming computer clean or things that would run in the back ground. I have my previous computer for all of that junk.

Right now just running 1 diablo 3, logitech, and chrome my CPU usage is 2% .. my ram usage is 12% ... while 4 boxing CPU goes to 30-40% and ram to 60% so im actually not running out of system resources im just getting the Virtual Memory is Low error when theres no way in hell is should be.

The only hardware or software change to my computer at all is D3s 2.0 patch. before this i could run whatever i wanted and my computer wouldnt blink... as things stand now i may be finished boxing unless theres just something im missing.

Re: hardware upgrade?

well this problem is now fixed for me... i saw two innerspace patches.. neither fixed it... nvidia had a patch that mentioned Diablo 3 it didnt fix it.... diablo has had 3 patches since it started and none of that fixed it...i changed the games to run in fullscreen mode instead of winowed mode and now i have no issues... well at least no low memory errors in about 20 hours of game play.
