Reaper Of Souls Expansion Question

How will ISBOXER work with RoS expansion ( drops in less than a month ) I've been wondering, will ISBOXER just update and we have to create a new profile for RoS instead of D3? or will there be something to do with the battle.net desktop manager? If a mod could clarify this for me I would be very grateful. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I'm confused and a little worried that I wont be ready to play on release night with all my characters

Thank you very much, Relish

It's unlikely that anything is going to change.

So we can just continue to load it with "skipping launcher"? If that is the case then will I just receive some update maybe for RoS and then be able to keep the same profile I currently multibox with?

I don't foresee a reason that anything would change, but even if it does, Blizzard doesn't let us know beforehand that they're going to be removing a parameter that's worked with the game for years.

If there's a problem with launching the game come expansion day, you can assume that Lax will be fixing it quickly since D3 is a popular game.

Re: Reaper Of Souls Expansion Question

The major patch for loot 2.0 hit last Tuesday. This is the framework for the expansion later this month. The launcher was changed to use the BNet launcher instead of the D3 client launcher.

When you're in game now, you see all the new expansion stuff already - you can see the crusader class in character select, there are options for the different adventure game modes, like bounties, loot runs, etc. The interface has been reworked a bit as well. There are even expansion related items dropping like crusader weapons and the new loot 2.0 legendaries. Now, the expansion-only stuff is all there but you still can't select any of it yet since you don't have RoS on your account. So on the expansion release date it will just be a matter of "flipping the switch" to activate the existing features.

Through ALL of that last week, I didn't have to do ANY changes on my isboxer profile. I already had the "skip launcher" profile for D3 selected, so once I updated the game files via Bnet, I was in and boxing like normal.

TL;DR version:
