Just starting up and am having problems with FPS lag while

As the subject states i am having issues with FPS lag. I got the trial and tried 2 boxing tempest rushing monks on the accounts i had which worked great, one screen per 24" with 1920x1200 dell monitors.

So i then got 2 more copies of D3 and am now trying 4 boxing and getting alot of issues with FPS lag. The setup i have used is 1 client on main monitor while have 3 clients on the secondary monitor. When i am running into mobs the main client will lag causing the other 3 clients to move out of sync.

The hardware i am using is:

i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67
SLi 2 x GTX670 GPU
6gb ddr3 Ram
2 x dell 24" monitor 1920x1200

I have turned off Verrtical sync & anti aliasing, i have turned on lower fx and turned all graphics settings to low or off on all 4 clients.

I have tried selecting all CPUS's with every window.

I have tried turning game resolution down to lowest possible 800x600.

Should i turn background/foreground FPS down in either game or ISboxer toolkit?

The fact changing resolution down to lowest would suggest its a CPU blockage?

IS there a drop in performace having 3 clients on 1 monitor? Would there be a better performance if i had 4 monitors, and 1 client per monitor?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Just starting up and am having problems with FPS lag while

I would highly recommend following HOWTO: Tweak your framerate, which includes a section called Identifying framerate bottlenecks. You're asking us to try to predict the data described in the "Identifying framerate bottlenecks" section, when you can actually just gather the data by following the guide.

SLI is not likely to be improving your performance (it could be hindering it). Though it might. The data from the above section will tell us for sure.

IS there a drop in performace having 3 clients on 1 monitor? Would there be a better performance if i had 4 monitors, and 1 client per monitor?

I wouldn't say there is "a drop in performance" from having your clients on one monitor, no... Adding more monitors with otherwise identical GPU configuration should actually result in lower performance.

However, you could potentially get better performance by balancing the load across your two GPUs in non-SLI mode, which would require two or more monitors in order to split up the GPU usage. That's described somewhat under GPU Management

here is a link to the Saved file from the Open hardware monitor made during a 15-20 minute run through Act 3.

File name: OpenHardwareMonitor.Report.txt File size: 32.91 KB

Any help with evaluating this data would be appreciated.
