Since you say in your channel info you don't want someone to tell you how to play, I thought I'd post something here instead, maybe someone might find it useful.

I'm boxing 4 mages too, trying to find a good farming spec - mp8 is easy, 2/3 ubers are perma frozen, but I found mp0 way too slow with the CM spec.

I moved to a blizzard spec . It's great for farming and paragon leveling. Gives you lots of room for sloppy play. And it's really fast. Probably close to 60 mil exp an hour and lots of loot.

This is with my MF gear, and the spec is solid - also the +3 sec to blizzard duration is awesome (offhand). Fire and forget.
