5boxing with Dxnothing + Video FX issue.
Hello,
I am sure this is a pretty silly mistake but here it goes. After watching mirai's guide (almost all of the ones that got my interest), and the feedback I got from the dualboxing forum I returned to WoW multiboxing after 2 years. It took me a while to settle the initial configuration but I have them running. (just running, haven't played yet) I found this issue.
I was following the guide of ISBoxer -- Video FX -- VFX Layouts, one of Mirai's guides. Reason why I wanted to do this over the normal window layout given by the wizard is due to the healing. I have boxed before using the window layout that the wizard set it up for me. However, like mirai states in the video, the feed is so small on the other windows that the way I coped it was making HUGE buttons so that I could read it. Now, the issue I am experiencing right now is, that the dxnothing window which is labeled as is6, and its on the 6th slot like in the guide, won't display any video fx. Its there, and it only appears when I click the slot 6 area. Whenever I go back to my main window on slot 1, the 5 video fx that is placed on dx nothing just disappears. As if slot6's dxnothing is covering them. At first I thought it could be something I may have configured during my time I played swtor. So I uninstalled it completely and tried again, but same issue. Well prior to uninstalling the menu icons did not work either (The broadcast buttons). At least that got fixed after reinstalling.
Here is the configuration:
http://pastebin.com/y2EUaSsf
My system:
Windows 8.1 Pro
intel i7 3770k @350Ghz
16GB Ram
Nvidia GTX970
I do have a second monitor but not using during wow play, and not sure if it affects in any way. In the ISboxer the only things that I have done is to try to apply this window design, and used the Isboxer Pro System in the wizard with advanced option ticked, and disabled the simple hotkey as explained in another tutorial from Mirai. (after watching all the tutorials I was very interested in implementing this, because I have done in the past the leaving gaps on hotbars in order to do more than just dps spam.)
