non-follow movement

Hi, new to the forums so if there is a post already on this please link.

I would like to move my characters without using the follow method or interact with Ethereal Soul-Trader.

I believe I have two options:

-click to move - using the mouse on each wow clicking in the same spot will move each character to the clicked spot. Issue I'm having is each client (even with auto camera rotate) clicks in a different spot in the world.

-broadcasting on - using the arrow keys moving the same direction on each wow will move the characters in the same direction. Same issue I'm having where each perspective is not exactly the same on each wow so after awhile they walk in different directions. Characters are rarely exactly same location/direction.

Any help especially from MiRai <3 is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advanced.

Re: non-follow movement

You've tried, and found out why you can't use anything besides /follow or an interactable pet to move throughout a 3D game world. Unfortunately, there is no other way to do it.

And this is the problem with a free look world, rather than a fixed perspective world like Diablo3.

This thread on dual-boxing.com poses a different solution, although similar to the Soul-Trader. In fact dual-boxing.com is probably the better place to look for alternatives to using follow (I wouldn't hold my breath on many solutions though), but for the most part, if you can use it, you should.

If however you can't use follow because you are trying to run multiple instances with multiple toons at the same time, then it just wont work for you. Have a search, people have tried and failed. Mainly because mobs don't always come from the exact same path, they hit slightly different sequences, you get knock backs on some and not others, stuns do annoying things to put you out of sequence, you damage and mob damage is not exactly the same on each toon no matter how exactly they are configured, etc, etc, etc.... Non of that takes into consideration the different lag, frame spikes, or other weird shit that can happen with multiboxing. All that which is besides the fact that your toons will not be facing the exact same way with the exact same camera angle and standing in the exact same position and all respond with the exact same lag.
