Problem with 5th character not being assisted

Hi,

I have just setup ISBoxer for WoW and have configured 5 characters.

I used the quicker setup guide and also installed jamba.

The first 4 characters all follow and assist each other nicely however the 5th character doesn't.

* He won't get assisted when I am controlling him and and I press ALT-A (everyone else gets assisted)
* He casts spells when I use the action bar hotkeys
* He doesn't move when I press the formation button

My configuration: http://www.privatepaste.com/3d944b1365

Not sure what I've done wrong but would appreciate any insight as to what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

Re: Problem with 5th character not being assisted

The reason he isn't assisted is you changed the Key Combination for "/assist {FTL}" (in the WoW Game Helper, Quick Setup 41 Macro Set) to F12.

Not only that, but you couldn't export after changing this because it would have warned you that the Key Combination conflicts with the JambaMaster macro which uses Ctrl+Shift+F12, and then also JambaStrobe ON which is Shift+Alt+F12 and JambaStrobe OFF which is Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F12. You apparently "solved" this issue by unchecking all of the "Allow extra modifiers" boxes for "/assist {FTL}" -- but all this actually accomplished was removing the message, because the macro still requires FTL support which requires all of the additional modifiers to be available for this key.

The easiest solution is to re-check those "Allow extra modifiers" boxes, and then either put the key combination back as Backspace or to pick another unmodified key that does not have anything else bound to it in WoW. I would recommend just putting it back the way it was, and then Export, and re-launch your team. Worst case, you can go to File and select Clear, run the Quick Setup Wizard again and don't break the assist macro... ;)

* He doesn't move when I press the formation button

The formations use WASD for forward/backward/turning, and Q/E for strafe left and strafe right. Usually for a formations issue where one doesn't move, his strafe keys are probably not set to Q and E in the game. You should make sure in the in-game Key Bindings screen that these match the other windows.

Re: Problem with 5th character not being assisted

I did indeed disable that - I wasn't actually sure why it was throwing that error and apparently I have disabled the wrong one! :-)

Thank you for helping lax - I will give it a shot now :-)
