Getting set up

I've happily been using Pwnboxer for years but it seems to have died.
I tried to give this program a whirl years ago but couldn't figure it out.
Pwnboxer was very easy to set up and run.
But now I'm here because there are no other options if I want to continue to multibox.
I paid for the subscription, downloaded the software and tried to follow along to the Youtube tutorial.
It didn't seem to like the path and I couldn't figure out how to change it so I uninstalled WoW, reinstalled it and tried to set it up again.
Now when I try to launch ISBoxer I get the following:

Error laoding fileC:\Innerspace\GameConfiguration.XML
System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (2,2).--->
System.InvalidOperationException: <ISBoxerToolkitProfile xmins="> was not expected.
at
Microsfot.Xml.Serialization.GeneratedAssembly.XmISerializationReaderInnerSpace
Settings.Read52_InnerspaceSettings0
---End of inner exception stack trace ---
at System.Xml.Serialization.XmISerializer.Deserializer(XmlReader xmlReader,
String encodingStyle, XmlDeserilizationEvents events)
at System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer.Deserialize(TextReader textReader)
at ISBoxer_Toolkit.InnerSpaceSettings.Load(String filename)

At this point I hit the OK box and get another complete box of gobbledygook.

I tried to uninstall ISBoxer but because it isn't showing up on the list of programs in the windows uninstall program I deleted it straight from the list of files. But apparently that really didn't uninstall it either.

Please help me. I recognize that I am probably unworthy of using your program but I really want to continue playing WoW as I've been doing so for way, way to long now.

For future reference, you could have:

1) Changed the path to the game executable
2) Added a new game to Inner Space

My guess would be that you could have shut down Inner Space, deleted GameConfiguration.XML, and then restarted Inner Space so that it would regenerate the file.

Re: Getting set up

How do I change that path?
The windows that pop up certainly aren't very user friendly for me.

Re: Getting set up

Ok, maybe I just got to a clean slate.

But I will probably still have problems with the game path...

Exporting to Inner Space

The Character "Sparkanator" is set to use the WoW folder 'c:\worldofwarcraft\world of warcraft\wow', but this path does not exist.
Aborting.

In ISBoxer, expand the Characters tree in the upper left pane, then click on each Character and adjust their Game/Game Profile in the bottom right pane.

Re: Getting set up

I've got it running now.

Next I have to figure out how to tweak it some.
Would be nice to turn down the graphics on the follower characters. Right now the game is kinda choking trying to run all five games at the same settings.
I'd also like to figure out how to remove the green empty boxes representing the number keys from all the games.

Re: Getting set up

To remove the green boxes, you can remove the Standard menu from your character set. Select your character set in the top left, in the lower left pane, select Menus, and then on the right, click on Standard so it is not highlighted. Export to Inner Space.

Keep a lookout when you run through the Quick Setup Wizard. This option is what gives you the green boxes.

Removing the green boxes (Standard Menu) will probably also remove the standard 1 to = broadcast hotkeys. You can add them back again by either clearing your profile and setting up again, and paying attention for the options as above, or you can use the Mapped Key Wizard, select Combat as the Key Map, then choose Assist and Broadcast as the mapped key types, and then in the "press a key to select" box, press all the keys 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, -, =, and then hit Finish. This will add them all as the "invisible" option just like the Quick Setup Wizard does.

As for the graphics settings, switch to each character and set the appropriate setting. ISBoxer creates copies of the Config.WTF for each character so they all have individual settings.

ps. It might also be worthwhile making sure it is the graphic settings and not just an overly ambitious FPS, or the wrong CPU strategy. This wiki page takes you through some of the things to identify and rectify FPS issues. http://www.isboxer.com/wiki/HOWTO:Tweak_your_framerate
