Auto assist isn't working

On every character set except the first one doesn't auto assist the master. The only difference between these accounts is I have the broadcasting set on pro so the bar doesn't show up. Every single other thing is

At a guess though, by "broadcasting set on pro so the bar doesn't show up", I figure you mean that you have not got the Standard Menu assigned, and instead have mapped keys to send the various keystrokes to the other game clients and that those mapped keys are not performing a "Do Mapped Key Action" which calls the Non-Combat -> Assist Me mapped key prior to the sending of the keystroke to all the clients.

The Pallies team has the Standard menu overlay (the green boxes you put over your action bar). This menu provides the Assist+Broadcast on the keys 1 to =. Because you do not have this menu assigned to the other character sets, then the functionality it provides is not available to them.

To get this functionality, but without the green boxes, you need to create the mapped keys to replace what that menu does. You can do this by running the Mapped Key Wizard from the Wizards menu, selecting Combat, hit next, then selecting "Assist and Broadcast", then hit Next, and then in the Hotkeys box type in 1 to = to they all appear in the list, and finally hit Finish.
