A Big Thanks, Welcome, and One Minor Issue
Thanks Lax for a wonderful piece of software. Old Vanilla WOW player that jumped back in with a 5 man team thanks to you. Warrior, Shaman, and 3x Mages (not because it's the best, but because I think it's a fun team 
. Went through the normal learning curves. My advice to newbie's is to take it slow and learn one thing at a time. I made it through almost all the vanilla 5man with just 1,2, and 3 below (actually could probably have done it with just 1&2 if I was more patient).
1. How to get the general/DPS default keymaps to work.
2. Add an addon and turn on repeater regions for healing.
3. Create new keymaps for focus/CC.
4. Learn "on next click" for aoe targeting spells.
Now I'm struggling through 4.0.1 like everyone else. The main thing I noticed as that things seem faster. Healing, damage taken, damage dealt, etc. Nothing we can't figure out.
Next projects:
how to alert myself and take advantage of procs (now that msbt/mbst? seems to not be being updated).
Use Ualaa's guide to try out formations.
How to use IWT for quests and melee.
And now for my one minor issue. When turning on/off broadcasting my view perspective gets completely messed up on my slaves (looking straight up/down etc.) No biggie, figure there is a macro or something you can make to "reset" the view to standard. Problem is that all I could find is:
setview(#) with 4 being the recommended value, but it doesn't seem to do anything for me. I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious....
Now if I could just collect my pants from the baron before 4.0.3 hits... Ever notice how he always drops the pants of the class that is not on your team
