Need some help

Hello everyone,

I'm new in the world of multiboxing, do i've joe's guide in how to setup isboxer for WoW, but my problem is, that my slave characters don't follow and don't attack with my main.

Here is my configuration, so you can help me out with this problem.

The WoW Quicker Start Guide is specifically written to make sure you can get that part working and that we can easily tell what is wrong.

Start at this step, don't skip any of them, go straight from Part 3 to 7, and tell us what works and what does not work. It should only take a minute. The first thing in this order that does not work tells us what to fix.

Already did that several times, and the problem still continues.

I understand that you did it, but you did not answer my question about the process. Did you start by confirming that the ISBoxer Addon is enabled? Did you turn Key Maps on and Broadcasting Mode off? Did the group invite button work?

Yes, i started by confirming that the ISBoxer addon was enabled in all clients, and it was, i turned the key and broadcasting mode on and off several times, but my group was always in a party, never had to invite it to a group.

You may need to look into a configuration that does not include using the ISBoxer WOW addon, which you can create by NOTT selecting the "Use per-Character Targeting Macros" option in the Game Key Bindings tab of the final page of the Quick Start Wizard.

This step helps us determine if ANY of the macros created by the ISBoxer Addon are working for you, and this is why I would continue to insist that you not skip any steps including that one. If this macro works, then we know the ISBoxer Addon is working for you, and likewise, if this macro does not work, then we know the ISBoxer Addon is not working for you.

If the answer is as Bob suggests, there is nothing to continue checking though.

So i decided to star over, and do a clean install, and now isboxer doesn't install the addon...i'm currently using a private server client, already added the client to innerspace, but i cant use isboxer without the addon...

Any help?

First of all, FAQ: Will this work on a private server? -- no discussion of private servers, this may result in your messages being removed, censored, or in this case I'm going to lock the thread after responding...

If you're no longer pointing Inner Space at a recognized WoW exe file (e.g. wow.exe, wow-64.exe, World of Warcraft Launcher.exe, etc), ISBoxer will not generate a WoW Addon because the game couldn't be recognized as WoW. In this case, put it back to wow.exe or the launcher, but never Battle.net.exe. (This is based on the Game/Game Profile selected for your Character, and this is configurable by selecting each Character in the top left pane.) And as the FAQ entry says, obviously if you're trying to use a really old version of WoW, the ISBoxer Addon may not work anyway.
