Renaming IS-D3D11 issues

Inner Space Version 1.13 (Build 6016)
World of Warcraft 5.4.8 (18414) (Release x86) using DirectX9

All is fine except when I attempt to start World of Warcaft with Inner Space.
At that time, I receive ERROR#132 (0x85100084) Fatal exception!
Exception 0xC0000096 (PRIV_INSTRUCTION) at 0023:7304E3EC

Went through the forums and found that when attempting to launch the game via Inner Space, it attempts to load it with DirectX 11 and not DirectX 9. The fix via the forums is to rename IS-D3D11.dll and IS-D3D11Engine.dll into something else. You cannot delete these two when Inner Space is loaded and Inner Space will download a new IS-D3D11.dll and IS-D3D11Engine.dll when it is started up again forcing you to rename those files again.

I would like to know is there a way that I don't have to keep deleting my renamed files and renaming the new files each time I start Inner Space?

Re: Renaming IS-D3D11 issues

A "fix" would eliminate the error in the first place, this is a "workaround". No at the moment there isn't a better workaround for the issue you're having. It is probably a driver related issue and it would help to have more information (e.g. your crash data for this crash, from the WoW errors folder. there is a dmp file and a txt file, which you can email to lax@lavishsoft.com) in order to produce a fix for the issue.

Re: Renaming IS-D3D11 issues

The fix for this issue (meaning you should not have to rename any files) should now be available in Inner Space build 6022. This is now the development build of Inner Space. To try it out, right click Inner Space and select Patcher, tick "Download development (test) patches" and then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up
