Multiboxing follow with KVM

I just started using innerspace about 1 week ago. I like the software.

With /follow removed in the BGs has anyone tried a KVM to control more than on character.

My question is about character drift while riding. You mount up at the BG gate, all toons are extremely close or nearly on top of each other. One or more toons will start to drift becuase /follow is not allowed as you leave the gate.

Has anyone tried and used a KVM successfully to keep toons from drifting in a BG while riding from the BG gate to point X?

I am familiar with the 2 and 3 man mount solutions; however, I'm looking for an alternative.

Thank you.

Why a KVM exactly? I mean, the point of a KVM is to switch to controlling a different PC with your current keyboard/video/mouse and it seems like if you've got multiple PCs and you want to manually adjust each one, you might be better off just having multiple mice in front of you for those adjustments.

Otherwise, you could use different Repeater Targets to simulate a KM. (http://isboxer.com/wiki/HOWTO:Broadcast_to_specific_sets_of_windows)
