New to multiboxing - Not following

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to all this. I've been at it for quite some time and had been trying to search the forums for my problem but haven't found the solution.

No matter what I try, I simply can't get my toons to follow me with Alt-F nor any other functions (can't invite either)... In fact, the only thing they can do is use 1-9 and if I press "=" then they all follow. When I look into my 4 follower's screens, I can see that there has been a macro put in the "=" slot by default. The macro basically says to target my main toon and /follow. It isn't a macro I created by any means.

I had an experienced friend look at it. He asked me to export my files, he then corrected them, made some special macro keybinds and went into my wow accounts to set up my keybinds. He then sent them back to me and I am having the exact same issue. I keep broadcast OFF and keep KEY MAPS on. 1-9 works fine but I have to add macros in from of all my followers.

For example, I made 5 mages just to try things out. Say I want them all to send a fireball when I do. I need to replace their fireball spells by a macro that says: /assist party1 and /cast fireball. My friend even tried created a hotkey that I can press before fighting mobs that simply tells my followers to assist and then I can cast whatever I want and it doesn't work.

I'm such a scrub. Help!

Thanks

The Quick Setup Wizard will set everything up for you as you have described. Here is a guide video by the creator of ISBoxer. I'd suggest following that.

If none of that works, you are going to need to share your configuration for support. That will give us somewhere to start from.

When you make changes to ISBoxer, are you exporting these changes to inner space? Just like with your friend fixing your config, it needs to be exported before any changes work in game. Just a thought.

Hi again,

I did use the wizard and yes, I do export it each time I make changes.

I've many Youtube videos for the setup and everything certainly seems ok but no dice. So odd...
