Isboxer named macros slow vs key presses

Ok, (quick info about me, I am playing 3DKs, one blood, 2 frost and a WW monk. I play in all of current content MoP raids including first ToT with these toons)

I put in a castsequence macro in IsBoxer that is identical to a macro made in game for my lvl 90 monk. Using a timed interval keypress(0.25sec), the Isboxer named wow macro ONLY executes every 1.5 sec, but if I use IsBoxer to just press key zero, which hits my exact same in game macro(/m), it executes the macro at the monks Global Cooldown speed of 1.0 sec. This problem is also repeated on my DK with his 1.0sec GCD. (The timed keypresses is not with IsBoxer software, but was used it to figure out why my dps is lower with isboxer macros vs ingame macros and having repeatable keypress timings)

My monk goes crazy using the ingame macro system and still using Isboxer to press the key, but stands practically still when using Isboxer and its WoW named macro system.

WW Monk macro
/castsequence reset=combat Jab,Rising Sun Kick,Jab,Tiger Palm,Jab,Blackout Kick,Jab,Blackout Kick,Jab,Rising Sun Kick,Tiger Palm,Jab,Chi Wave,Blackout Kick,Jab,Blackout Kick

Summary question. Does using named macros in WoW OR IsBoxer limit the speed you can "spam" keys? Is it Wow? or Isboxer? If it is IsBoxer is there a way to change it, speed it up?

I don't want to resort to just using keypresses and only 255 char ingame macros, I like the named macro system but it is too slow for <1.5sec GCD toons. Please let me know if there is a throttle system in place here so I can adjust my setup accordingly.

Thx for any info.

Re: Isboxer named macros slow vs key presses

Ummmmm....

When you create a Named WoW Macro with ISBoxer, and give it a Key Binding, it's absolutely no different than putting the same macro text in the game and dragging it to an Action Bar Button with the same Key Binding. It's still the same macro text in the game, and the same Key Binding, there's no 1.5 vs 1.0 seconds it's just a macro assigned within the game at this point.

If you created a Mapped Key, and you're using that Mapped Key as opposed to the WoW Macro directly, then that Mapped Key does have the ability to lock you out temporarily with various methods. For example, it might have an extra Step, with something different in it or it might use "Do not advance to the next step ... for at least ___ seconds, and only trigger once", and so on.

Otherwise unless you have a significant FPS (framerate) difference I don't know where you'd get this timing difference.

Re: Isboxer named macros slow vs key presses

Dug a little bit more. Time lag appears to happen when using virtual mapped keys. I used the setup of creating a virtual key map, then a combat key map like many have posted, then created a key map for ea spec/class. Then under the character set it up under virtual mapped key tab.

The virtual mapping is causing the slowdown. can I send you my file to look at and let you test it yourself? I just tested this again, using the FTL DPS keys I get the correct spam speed, using virtual mapped keys there is a built in delay. Seems to not be the named macro system, it is in the way the virtual key potion is written.

Thanks. Where can I put a file for you to look at?

Re: Isboxer named macros slow vs key presses

nvm, figured it out.

I had a 1.5sec delay for interact with target to smooth out runners (works on small hit boxes) but I also checked the trigger only once box which was causing the attack step to also wait. Took off check box and fixed it.

Sorry for the confusion.
