WoW won't connect!

Whenever I run the 2 WoW instances through InnerSpace, I keep getting the "disconnected" message whenever I try and login to the game (The password is correct).
Wow will however connect and run normally when I run WoW without Innerspace, like I usually run it.
-I've used ISBoxer before and it worked like it should (on Windows 7) and now I'm on Windows 8 but it just won't work not matter what I try.

I've gone through the entire Wow section to find a viable solution but so far nothing has come up to help me.

Any viable solutions to help me?

Re: WoW won't connect!

Based on your description, either...
1. ISBoxer Hotkeys are interfering because they're not disabled (Shift+Alt+M usually), or...
2. You're logging into the same account in both windows?

Re: WoW won't connect!

I guess you could say that I'm logging in the same account but...

The 1st instance is 'Wow 1' while the second instance is 'Wow 2', although I've tried just logging through the 1 instance (without any other running) and still nothing

Re: WoW won't connect!

WoW1 and WoW2 on the same battle.net account are different WoW accounts, so that is fine. Logging into WoW1 on both would disconnect the first one.

Assuming your ISBoxer Hotkeys are disabled while you enter your password, there's no other typical reason why this would happen. Do you have network security software that might be interfering when you're using ISBoxer? (Windows Firewall, etc)

Re: WoW won't connect!

I have McAfee running as a firewall program, could that possibly be the issue? If so, what I need to do to get ISBoxer to work?

Re: WoW won't connect!

I don't know it's your firewall software! ;)

McAfee is sort of notorious for breaking things though, so that's entirely possible. Try uninstalling it -- you will need to reboot after. Just "turning it off" doesn't usually work because it leaves system services running that still interfere.

If that doesn't help then it might be something else installed. I can help narrow it down if you provide "Diagnostics for game crashes" from the ISBoxer Help menu

Re: WoW won't connect!

Sorry to double post, but this may be a viable option to solve my problem...

Is there any way for ISBoxer to run Wow through the launcher.exe instead of Wow.exe? If so, how would I configure ISBoxer to do so?

86. c:\PROGRA~2\mcafee\SITEAD~1\saHook.dll

Yeah, try uninstalling McAfeee; if you re-enable it leave out "SiteAdvisor"

This won't solve the problem. But what you would do is right click IS and select Add Game, then drag the WoW launcher shortcut onto the Add Game window (or click the "..." button and point it at the launcher). Then in ISBoxer, select each Character in the top left pane and select the new Game and Game Profile that you added. You would also need to make sure to check the setting in the launcher to launch the 32-bit client instead of the 64-bit client.
