Follow in FTL......Help please!!!!

Hi folks

I have just made a problems for my self....I think with follow and IWT.

I just made a new mapped key section for movement, in my SCL setup, wasd, Arrow up, Arrow down, arrow left, arrow right, and LCTRL, LSHIFT, LALT as modifiere for grid healing, in my mind a okay good idea, but now has follow and IWT stop working......I guess I have fuck some FLT setting up some how, but never da'less I don't know how to setup it back again.......and a question, is it not possible /allowed to use CTRL SHIFT and ALT as modifiers when I use a FLT setup??

my idea was to make a cast totem setup, with Ctrl+alt+F5.....and recall em all again with a modifier, same with mounting/unmounting

copy of my config. http://www.privatepaste.com/b9dea3e4ea

sorry for annoy you guys with this noobish question and fuckup, but anyhow still hope someone will take a look, and maybe tell what is wrong.

Best

Hey

seems I have semi sorted it, as Lax said in another post...."you don't need movement keys, for FTL- something like that". I have deleted the mapped movements map, and it's seems to be working now just wondering what I can use as key modifier for Grid+Clique healing then.....anyone with a suggestion, how to bind that healing keys, or rather what modifier I can use Left, right, wheel up/down?

Re: Follow in FTL......Help please!!!!

Your basic choices are, one of:
a) Healbot; or
b) Vuhdo; or
c) Grid + Grid Custom Layouts + Clique

Either choice is the same as the others, it comes down to which set of addons is more visually appealing.
You want an alphabetical sort, so the order is exactly the same on every screen.
You want the frames to be in the same position on every screen (you can position them simultaneously, via mouse broadcasting).

Bring up the in-game IS Boxer interface, via the hotkey set under the character set.
Go to the Repeater Region tab.
If you have a single healer, make them the target of the Repeater Region.
If you have 3x DPS who are healing (ie., no dedicated healer), put them into an Action Target Group and name it Heals, make that the target of the Repeater Region.
Select the KVM/Block Local Click option.

Position the Repeater Region over the entire grid frame (the border of the Repeater Region is not broadcast just the shaded portion).

Click Sync.
Then Save as "Auto", which is the default.

You'll need to use your wow addon, to determine what kind of clicks do which heals.

My Resto Druids use:
Left/Right = Default clicks
Alt Clicks = Mana efficient spells
Ctrl Clicks = Emergency/Big-Fast heals
Scroll Wheel = AoE Heals

Left = Rejuvenation
Right = The Druid Cleanse spell

Alt Left Click = Nourish
Alt Right Click = Healing Touch

Ctrl Left Click = Lifebloom
Ctrl Right Click = Regrowth

Scroll Wheel Up = Swiftmend
Scroll Wheel Down = Wild Growth

Re: Follow in FTL......Help please!!!!

Hey Ualaa thanks for reply

I have always Grid+Clique, have use that since version 1 or so of both grid and clique, I have been a end-game raid healer, for pretty much my entire wow-life so grid healing is not so uncommon for me.....only that weird tree healing, never played a Restoration druid, until I started this multiboxer team up

it's only this multiboxer stuff, repeater regions, Video Fx, and stuff like that, and what modifiers I'm allowed to use, due to FTL setup, but it's all starts to come together now, thanks to you, Lax, muhammed ali, Alge, MiRia it's some awesome guides and videos with some brilliant ideas you guys have made.

My personnel problem is most likely that my first ISboxer setup has/are to demanding for my current multiboxer experience, never'da'less that's what I want, and I'm ready to work for it (haven't left Under City for 5 days now and it's will stay like that until my setup is like I want it. currently working on my Pro CLS version 3 atm.) so I hope I can keep using you guys expertise when it's needed.

the question on this post has been solved more of less, but it's nice to see you druid healing setup.

but instate of using a Repeater regions area, for druid clique healing, is it not better to use the way that MiRia is showing in his video, with the Video Fx setup, or is it me who can't see the real benefit of repeater regions over Video Fx, when it's come to grid healing???

so example, my shaman 1 can have both the grid viewer from the druid, for repeater click healing and his own grid for self healing (if needed), it seems the way you are showing, will prevent me from grid healing with my shaman be course the druids repeater regions is covering the entire grid area.

Re: Follow in FTL......Help please!!!!

If you're using 'Full Screen Stacked', you would want to use Video Feeds most likely.
This means only one window/character is visible, but other regions have their important areas shown via the Video Feeds.

If you're using a 'Picture in Picture' type setup, where you have a main region and slave regions that are all visible at the same time...
Then Video Feeds aren't an option, because the slave windows are scaled down (even though they're rendered at full size) to a smaller size.
Which means you cannot use Feeds, but a Repeater Region is going to work fine.
One of the two, forget which, wants Windows Aero to be disable and the other wants it enabled... Video Feeds and XSplit Broadcaster (for streaming my play); Repeater Regions work fine for me, and I do like to stream.

Hey Ualaa

I have the first setup as you said, 2 monitors, one for full screen, 2nd setup using dxNothing (brilliant idea tbh) showing all 5 toons with with repeater region active and mouse focus. so I can interact with all 5 toons, without screen swapping, feels like it's the way to go for me.

Thanks for explaining the main differences between those two setups....and yea I know you like to stream, have watch you streams a few times already.

Best Regards
