New to multi-boxing need a little help

Hello all,
Well I am going to jump right in, been playing around with multi-boxing with other program like Key-clone and gcp. I must admit ISBoxer seems like a very sweet setup. But I need some advice on how to setup my crew, first I am running 3 warlocks, 1 pally and 1 priest lvl 24-26 so far. The most important advice I need is my dps setup, I been using my pets as my tank "why if you have a pally" still getting used to the controls i know will come in time. So if anybody else is running something close to this setup came you give me some advice on setting this crew up. Thanks in advance :D

P.S. setting up Isoboxer do you use macros or set it up thru isoboxer?

Re: New to multi-boxing need a little help

I personally go with warcraft macros/spells, mostly set up so any of the toons could be one-boxed.
And then round-robin effects are controlled from within IS Boxer, via Steps.
So most of my mapped keys, have a hotkey and send that same key to various targets.

I'd recommend setting up independent slave movement.
Probably go with WASD or the Arrow Keys, as mapped keys which affect "Window: All without Current".
So no matter which toon you are on, you can move the others independently.

Take a look at Zanthor's and Tovya's videos on Repeater Region heals.
Or read my written guide.
With a single dedicated healer (priest), send the clicks to that slot only, and use KVM mode.
The videos and written guide explain this in higher detail.
You'll need a unit frame addon like Vuhdo, Healbot or Grid (Grid will also require GridCustomLayouts and Clique), and set it for alphabetical sort.
Once set up, you can heal any toon from any toon, just by clicking on their frame.
This is easily the strongest method for healing, as a boxer.

I would probably drive with the Paladin.
And have the Warlocks/Priest on auto follow.
Then you can break follow (slave independent movement key).
Run in with the Pally and tank stuff.
And DPS freely with the warlocks, whose pets will jump into the fray.

Initially, put your most used 3-4 abilities on say 1-4.
IS Boxer will have the slaves (non-active toons), auto assist the driver/master (active toon).

Down the road, as you get more abilities, consider a click castsequence to control your dps.
The basis is a master macro which you spam.
And which then calls several other castsequences, in a priority order.
Each will cast a spell once, and then be followed by numerous commas.
Based on a consistent spam speed, the number of commas determine how long until the spell recasts.

Start off slow, and add stuff as you feel comfortable.
The written/video guides here are a great resource for isboxer in general.
