Some questions

K i just started this trial . Im wondering how to make it so like lets say i have 3 accs and i want one to be a mage one a pally and one a priest how would i make my rotation since they all have different spells so if i pressed 1 they would use different spells and 2 different spells. And also how could i make one be tanking and one healing anyone know?

Re: Some questions

Hi there,

I'm also new! I found this guide incredibly helpful, have you been through it?

http://isboxer.com/index.php/quick-start

If you go through it properly it should all make sense after getting yourself set up. My advice would be to create 3 casters, of the same class (like Shamans) to get used to how everything works, how questing works etc. and then once you're used to that, look at tanking and healing too.

I have only had this for 3 days and feeling pretty competent with it now. Just learning the finer details.

If you put Fireball on "1" for the mage.
And you put Mindblast on "1" for the priest.

If you push "1", from any window, the others assist you and then also push 1.
So they all cast at the same target.

Spells with similar cast times and refresh times can be grouped like this.

You could put a castsequence on each key.
You can use the Wow macro library (http://isboxer.com/wiki/WoW_Macro_Library) or simply have a wow macro (configured in Warcraft) on that keybind.

Mercurio comes up with the idea of a two-step approach.
Where you put spells that cannot lock up a castsequence together on one keybind.
And spells that are procs, and can lock up the sequence on another.
You could have more than one proc sequence... ie a two-step, three-step, four-step etc.
In IS Boxer you change your DPS spam, to multiple steps which output the keybind to activate each key.

Mosg2 came up with a priority sequence.
Put each ability you want, on its own key.
With higher priority abilities earlier than lower priority abilities.
This works good where you make a Mapped Key, that outputs the keybind/Macro Library Action to Target: Current Window.
Then your spam key has a series of Do Mapped Key actions, for the target group (often an action target group, with more than one toon in it), each firing off on the press of the hotkey.
When you spam the key, often on a given press an ability is on cooldown and nothing occurs... but when you're spamming 3+ clicks a second, you'll almost always fire something off that is not on cooldown.

Both of these methods are shown here: http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/4793 ... ro-Library
At least the Warcraft Macro portion...

Checking out my DK/Pally guide helps too: http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/3765 ... ight=mosg2
The Paladin is effectively using a two-step approach.
The DK's are using a priority sequence.

Re: Some questions

ye im not that good with knowing how to set up macros and all that so i guess ill just make 3 of the same characters. And another question for you is how do you make it so all 3 characters grab the quest at the same time or do you have to do it seperately i tried the shift alt r thing and its off the npc on some characters

Re: Some questions

The basic procedure is to have the slaves assist the main, so they're all targeting the same quest guy.
(or the same inn-keeper or flight master or vendor).

Then press your IWT keybind, while CTM is enabled.

They should all interact (act as if they had right clicked on the NPC).
You might need to press IWT more than once... once to move and once more to interact.

At this point, you can go with the addon Jamba or you can enable mouse broadcasting.
Mouse broadcasting is going to be exactly the same option on every window.
Jamba should have the slaves mimic the masters choice for taking/turning in quests, but you can configure the reward option in a variety of ways.
