Game freezes every 5 seconds

Hello,

I'm having trouble with isboxer, my game freezes for a second or two every 5 to 10 seconds. I had no problem using isboxer a few weeks ago, it's a new problem. I was able to run the game on high settings and now i can't even play on low, i need your help
I have since the problem, reinstalled isboxer, redo my team, tested various cpu wizard configurations, and nothing seems to help.

This performance issue will not be found (nor solved) in your ISBoxer settings.

When you say "a few weeks ago", was this prior to the big WoW 5.0 patch? Since the patch there have been numerous reports of old WoW Addons causing performance problems, including Jamba. If you use Jamba, make sure to get the new Jamba beta from THIS thread on dual-boxing.com: http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/47757-Addon-Jamba-An-assistant-for-multiboxers-Patch-5-0-4-Beta-Testing-BETA-3-released. If you're using the same version of Jamba you used before, or the normal download from Curse instead of the Jamba beta download, then it will be expected to cause performance problems.

To that end, it will be helpful to both of us if you go to your WoW Addons screen and disable everything but ISBoxer in order to see if your performance issue is caused by Addons.

Additionally, there have been reports of new performance issues under DirectX 11. Switching WoW to use DirectX 9 has been reported to solve some new performance issues since the 5.0 patch.

I have no addon, besides isboxer.
I switched to directx 9, no change was observed.
I had no issue before 5.0.x patch.

1. When you start ISBoxer Toolkit, does it pop up a message about CPU Throttling? I'd assume not, but I have to ask because that would very clearly indicate a related problem and its solution

2. Graphics settings may have reset or changed after the patch. Have you checked the in-game graphics settings to be sure they are as you expect?

3. Switching to DirectX 9 requires a restart to take effect. If you changed it using the in-game setting under "Advanced" you must at LEAST restart the game and then re-check that the value is kept when you log back in. I say this because it's possible you changed it but didn't activate the change. Also, ISBoxer can help enforce a DirectX version by using one of Inner Space's Game Profiles; if IS detected WoW, it will have a DirectX 9 and a DirectX 11 Game Profile that you can choose between in ISBoxer. You can select this on a per-Character basis -- in the top left pan under Characters select each one, then in the bottom right pane there's Game and Game Profile drop-down boxes.

So i switched to directx 9 again, it didn't record the settings as i did change it on all my characters, and now it seems to be working smoothly.
