ISB Following problems

Ok I'm a newb when it comes to ISB and multiboxing. I set up my macros for different letters on the key board. but let s say i have auto run on and my slave character following (only have 2 boxes open) if I start typing.... my slave stops following because it starts casting whatever abilities are bound to that letter. now This is PERFECT if i'm in combat because it makes them stop following while in combat. but how do i prevent that from happening when not in combat? and is there a way to have it set up to where it automatically switches to working in and out of combat?

actually as i'm playing right now. while i'm attacking so forth with my master and continue running nonstop my slave continues to follow. so it only stops when i'm trying to type and i'm out of combat... Help?

No, ISBoxer is unable to detect any game state, which is good because that would lead to automation which will get you banned.

There are (at least) two ways to avoid the issue you describe:

1) Turn Key Maps off when you want to chat and turn them on again when you are finished. While Key Maps are off ISBoxer will not interpret those key presses as Hotkeys. The default Hotkey for that is Shift+Alt+M but you can of course change that. Many people use this method.

2) Don't use unmodified letter keys as Hotkeys in ISBoxer. This avoids the need to turn Key Maps on and off when you wish to chat but at the expense of having to use, for example, Alt+G instead of plain G for abilities. This is the method I use in combination with a Logitech G13.

Note: all of the above is predicated on you having a standard ISBoxer config. If you have set things up in a non-standard way the advice may be different.
