how about more wizards

i am not restarting the interface discussion, it is after all quite an endeavor to rewrite from scratch, with the risk of creating new problems and alienating the home base. but one of the main difficulties as i have experienced it, is knowing not only which key to edit, but also in which panel, and in which order. how about doing away with all the written instructions and creating more wizards that do just that: go to the right key and the right panel? you could have a collection of mini-wizards to do whatever you want, and for the hardcore users, the "old way" would be still available.

I'd love to provide more wizards. All I need a specific problem to solve that can be solved with a wizard. Maybe a use case.

If there were that many wizards, they would probably be organized into various topics, much like the organization in the top left pane. Say you wanted a wizard to find you where to create a Key Map. It'd be like BAM! right there when you right click Key Maps in the top left pane. Imagine!
